Unsupervised is back and excited to present its first streaming concert in partnership with the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance and the Latin Music Project.
With a varied repertoire that includes 19th century nationalist music from Manuel Gregorio Tavárez to contemporary music from Angélica Negrón, this concert explores various styles of Puerto Rican, Caribbean and South American music. With an alternative instrumentation of flute, two violins, viola and bass trombone, members of Unsupervised bring a modern and fresh perspective to the traditional Latin American repertoire.
Ensemble:
Ivonne García-Pabón and Carmen Abelson, violins
Hanna Pederson, viola
Dalia Chin, flute
Elena Grijalva, bass trombone
